Middleburg Bank Ft Evans Branch

Leesburg, Virginia

New LEED® Silver Certified Branch

In a conscious effort to be a more environmentally responsible corporation, Middleburg Bank engaged AHSa to design it's latest branch in accordance with LEED® 2.2 NC as a building that is both energy efficient and environmentally friendly.

The Middleburg Bank takes pride in its new Fort Evans Plaza II branch bank for being the first LEED® Silver building in the City of Leesburg and the first LEED® Silver banking facility in Loudon County. This building will use approximately 38% less energy and 46% less water than standard buildings of its genre. The design includes not only improved indoor air quality and environmental controls for it's occupants, but it also supports innovative energy generation technologies such as geo-transfer wells and water source heat pumps. The geo-transfer wells help heat and cool the building by extracting energy from the earth. These forward thinking steps go a long way in showing the bank's commitment towards cleaning the environment for future generations.
