Franklin Square Hospital's new OR #10 /Endovascular Suite

Renovation of the space occupied by an existing Operating Room, an abandoned XRay Room and a Store Room into a new state of the art, dual function Operating Room/Endovascular Suite.

Our design of the room allows it to be used for both Endovascular procedures with "C-Arm" and extensive ceiling-mounted equipment and to be used for General Surgery procedures requiring a clear field around the patient. We accomplished this by designing the ceiling rails for the Endovascular equipment to extend into a storage alcove which allows it to fold up and park out of the way during other procedures. The extremely limited existing floor to floor height was a major challenge during the design and construction of the ceiling systems.

The suite also includes a Control Room, Equipment Room and extensive built in storage.
