1/15/10 AHSa's 2nd LEED® Certified Building
AHSa is pleased to announce that our second building has been LEED® Certified.
The new M&T Bank Perry Hall Branch has received LEED® Certification.
"The LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings."
As an initiation of M&T Bank's commitment to being environmentally responsible, this new LEED® certified branch is the first of its kind. As a statute of our practice, AHSa approaches architecture with an environmentally-conscious mindset. Therefore, with minor modifications to the established M&T Bank prototype, this branch easily qualified for LEED® certification by the United States Green Building Council.. By creating large posters to be mounted within the branch, AHSa intends to educate occupants on the LEED® certification process, as well as the specific "green" strategies that were implemented during Design and Construction.
