At Ammon Heisler Sachs architects, our healthcare design staff is dedicated to creating spaces for doctors, nurses, techs and administrators to work safely and efficiently while patients receive care comfortably and privately. In a hospital or in a clinic, our architects focus on understanding the needs of the providers and patients to create spaces that flow quickly and efficiently for everyone.

We work with our clients to envision new or renovated spaces that enhance healthcare. We have converted a former grocery store to outpatient physician offices and laboratories, former file storage areas to a dedicated cancer institute. We’ve designed state-of-the-art operating rooms and emergency departments, tackled challenges for moving large equipment to new spaces and upgraded common spaces to improve patient comfort. We consider all aspects of each design, from placement of equipment and outlets to finishes and colors that create the right blend of functional, durable, and patient- friendly spaces.
